About Us

Stephen O’Toole, LLB

As well as being an accomplished lawyer, Stephen has a pedigree as a musician. He has a wealth of experience and connections in the music industry, having toured and recorded extensively with the Mighty Wah! alongside Pete Wylie on hits including the Story of the Blues, playing guitar and piano and as a vocalist. He has also worked with many other signed artists. Stephen comes from a family of musicians; his dad was a member of Merseybeat group, the Mojos, and his cousin, Mark O’Toole, is a former member of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and co-author of many of their major hit records. Stephen still finds time to pursue his passion for music, writing, playing and recording with his own group.

Stephen heads the media law department and has considerable experience across a wide range of legal specialisms. He understands your concerns. He has a keen eye for detail as well as an ability to identify the key issues which need to be addressed, enabling him to produce future-proof documents to protect your interests throughout your creative lifetime.

Stephen can guide you through the legal processes needed to protect your interests, not just today and tomorrow, but in the long-term.
